Getting Started
A step-by-step walkthrough for your first session with Polymarket Analytics.
Navigate to the Dashboard
- Log in at airavat.xyz
- Click Polymarket in the left sidebar
- You’ll land on the Traders tab by default
The dashboard has five tabs across the top: Traders, Markets, Filters, Automations, and AI Analysis. Each tab’s state (search query, sort order, pagination, active filters) is persisted in the URL, so you can bookmark any view or share it.
Step 1: Find Interesting Traders
On the Traders tab:
- Browse the table. It’s sorted by Total PnL (highest profit) by default.
- Click any column header to re-sort (e.g., click Trader Score to find consistently strong traders)
- Use the search bar to find a specific trader by name or wallet address
- Use the tag dropdown to filter by market category (e.g., “Politics”, “Sports”). This shows only traders active in those markets.
- Click a trader row to open their full profile with positions and trade history
Step 2: Explore Markets
Switch to the Markets tab:
- Markets are listed with liquidity, volume, status, and end date
- Use the Active / All toggle to include resolved or closed markets
- Filter by tag or search by market title
- Multi-market events appear as expandable rows. Click to see individual markets.
- Click a market row to see live trades streaming in real time and all trader positions
Step 3: Create a Filter
Go to the Filters tab and click the + button. See the Filters guide for a complete walkthrough of every field.
Quick example, “Profitable whales in politics markets”:
- Under Trader Criteria, set Total PnL min to
10000and Win Rate min to55 - Under Market Criteria, add the tag “Politics”
- Name it “Profitable Politics Whales”
- Click Save
Step 4: Set Up an Alert
Go to the Automations tab and click the + button:
- Select Email Alert as the automation type
- Pick the filter you just created
- Enter your email address
- The throttle defaults to Daily / 6 emails per day. Adjust if needed.
- Click Create
You’ll now receive email notifications when trades matching your filter occur. See the Automations guide for all automation types including copy trading.
Step 5: Run an AI Analysis
The AI Analysis tab gives you on-demand AI-powered research on any market, trader, or event:
- Navigate to any market or trader detail page
- Click the AI Analysis link
- Pick Quick (5 to 10 seconds, light research) or Deep (30 to 60 seconds, thorough multi-source research)
- Read the recommendation (e.g.,
BUY YES,HOLD,STRONG FOLLOW), confidence rating, and key factors - Browse your analysis history from the AI Analysis tab on the main dashboard
Distribution analysis (bucketed views and criteria-based discovery) is available within the Traders and Markets tabs via Advanced mode. See Traders: Advanced Mode and Markets: Advanced Mode.
Build your first filter
Knowing the dashboard is half the work. The other half is configuring it for the trades you actually care about.
A filter can take one of four canonical shapes, depending on whether you trust specific traders, attribute thresholds, or category bias:
- Multi-Trader Whitelist: handpick the traders you want to follow
- Cohort Filter: define the population by attribute thresholds
- Hybrid: cohort plus handpicked overrides; where most users land after a few weeks of iteration
- Specialist: restrict to one or two market categories where you have domain edge
Next: see Filter Setups to pick a shape and build it step-by-step. Then run it on paper. The Paper Trading Quick Start walks through the iteration loop.
